Certificate creation and verification
Create verifiable certificates for your students
Manage graduation and other teaching certificates in EduPortal. Choose an approved template, select a recipient and enter the certificate details, then preview the draft and download a PDF. After publication, the certificate's details can be checked through a QR code or verification link. Certificate management follows the user's role and permissions.
How to prepare a certificate in EduPortal
- 01
Choose an approved template
Select an active, approved template. To use your own design, upload it in SVG format and submit it for approval.
- 02
Select the recipient and details
Choose the recipient and enter a title and date. A graduation certificate requires a completed class; another certificate type is also available.
- 03
Preview and download the draft
Check the recipient's name, wording and appearance, then download a PDF. A draft is not yet a published certificate.
- 04
Publish the certificate
After reviewing the details, publish it explicitly. Publication activates the verification link and prevents further content changes. Download the final PDF after publication for sharing.
What can you do with certificates?
Use your own design
Use dynamic fields for the name, title, date, academy name and QR code in an SVG template. Prepare certificates for different recipients from the same approved design.
Share a PDF
Preview the certificate and download a PDF to send to the recipient or print.
Check details with a QR code
In a template containing a QR field, the code opens the verification page. It shows the published certificate's recipient, title, date and issuing academy information.
Work within role permissions
Owners and authorized managers manage certificates and templates. Students can view certificates issued to them in their own account.
Example workflow
Prepare graduation certificates for a completed class
For example, a class has finished and you want to issue student certificates. The teacher or academy determines the certificate's content and award.
- 01
Choose the class and template
Prepare graduation certificates for a completed class. Choose a suitable active, approved template.
- 02
Review the details
Review recipients and certificate details, preview drafts and check names and dates. Download the PDFs you need.
- 03
Publish and share
Publish the completed certificates, then download the final PDFs. Share the PDF or verification link with recipients; a template's QR field leads to the same verification page.
Certificate questions
Can I upload my own certificate design?
Yes. Upload an SVG template. A new template must be approved and active before it can be used to prepare certificates. Existing system templates can also be used.
Are certificates issued automatically?
No. An authorized user prepares a draft, reviews the details and publishes it explicitly. Graduation certificates require a completed class.
What do the QR code and link verify?
The verification page displays the details of a certificate published in EduPortal. The teacher or academy issues it for their own teaching; EduPortal provides creation, management and verification tools.
Can a draft be verified through a public link?
No. Public verification works only for published certificates. Review the details and appearance before publishing.
Can an individual teacher account create certificates?
Yes. The owner of an individual teacher account can use the certificate section. Template approval and active status, account capacities and operation permissions still apply.
Which template limits apply?
Template counts and file storage follow the capacities applied to your account. Check your template allowance and storage before uploading your own design, and contact support if needed.
