Two ways to teach, one platform

Whether you lead an academy or teach on your own, you get the same tools. Only the setup differs.

  1. Instructor
  2. Classes
  3. Students

Private tutors and teachers

Your own teaching space

Manage your classes, students and teaching activity as an independent teacher, under your own name.

  • An interface simplified for an independent teacher's daily work
  • Focus on your lessons without heavy management tools
  • Grow your plan as your students and groups grow
  • Becoming an academy? Switch the account type and keep your data

Academies and training centers

Run every campus, class and team

Give owners, managers, instructors, mentors and students the right access in one shared register.

  • An interface that expands for a center with a team and campuses
  • Team, role and campus management always in view
  • Change your plan as you add campuses and staff
  • Need a simpler view? Switch the account type back at any time
Set up an academy

You'll choose Academy or Instructor right after you sign up. Switching to the academy interface itself is free; your plan's prices and capacity limits still apply.

ThenI write every parent a separate report.

Now

Parents follow the diary themselves

The attendance, homework, exam results and notes you record in class land in the student's diary. Parents see it all there, so there is no separate report to write.

  1. 1

The student copies the diary link

  2. 2

    Sends it to the parent

  3. 3

The parent opens it without signing in

A shared link stays valid for 24 hours, and the student can revoke it at any time.

Write the questions, let the system grade

Build exams from eight question types. Students answer against a countdown, test answers are checked instantly, and open answers wait for your review.

  • Shuffle questions and answer options, and choose whether students can go back
  • Set a passing score and decide when results and correct answers appear
  • Save an exam as a template and reuse it in other classes; update the template and linked exams update too

Everyone sees what their job needs

Owners, managers, teachers and students sign in to the same platform, but each sees only the sections that fit their role.

  • Owners manage the academy profile, campuses and subscription
  • Managers work with their own campus's users, classes and courses
  • Teachers and students go straight to their lessons without management menus

Questions, answered

Can't find the answer you're looking for? Reach out to our support team.

What is EduPortal and who is it for?

EduPortal is teaching and student management software for private tutors, independent teachers and training centers. Timetables, an online attendance register, exams, homework, materials, certificates and the parent diary work together in one platform.

Can I manage in-person and group lessons?

Yes. Create a class for individual or group teaching and manage its timetable, attendance, materials and homework. Creating online meetings or connecting Zoom or Google Meet is optional.

How can parents follow lesson results?

Students can share a 24-hour diary link. Parents with a confirmed connection can use their own account to review their child's available attendance, homework, results and teacher notes.

Can I use EduPortal as an independent instructor, without an academy?

Yes. After you sign up, choose to continue as a teacher. You get your own teaching space for your classes, students and teaching activity, with live classes, exams, assignments and attendance.

Can an academy manage several campuses and instructors?

Yes. Academies organise campuses, courses and classes, and give owners, managers, instructors, mentors and students role-based access.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Our free plan includes 11 active users, 5 active classes and 10 GB of storage, with no time limit or requirement to upgrade. User capacity includes teachers and other staff, not only students. Choose a different plan when you need more capacity.

Can I create live classes with Google Meet or Zoom?

Yes. An authorised Academy user can optionally connect Google Meet or Zoom and create live-class meeting links without leaving EduPortal. When you choose Google Meet, EduPortal uses the permission only when you request a meeting for a scheduled class, and uses basic Google account information only to identify and display the connected account. You can disconnect the account from Settings at any time.

How does grading work?

Exams support both automatic grading for objective questions and manual grading for open-ended responses, with clear tracking for every attempt.

Can I prepare certificates for students?

Yes. Owners and authorized managers can prepare certificates from approved templates, preview drafts, download PDFs and publish them. Publication activates the verification link. A template containing a QR field leads to the same verification page. Students can view their own certificates in their account.

Is my data secure?

All files and videos are stored securely in the cloud, and every account can enable extra protections like email verification and two-factor authentication.

Can I change or cancel my plan later?

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your academy settings.

How do I contact support?

Send a support request from the platform and continue the conversation there. You can also email [email protected] with questions about your account or using EduPortal.

Can I suggest a feature I need?

Yes. Tell the support team what you need. We aim to add accepted suggestions to the shared platform without a separate development fee. Suggestions are reviewed; acceptance and a specific delivery date are not guaranteed.
